Birthright Citizenship Act of 2011 (HR.140)

This bill amends section 301 of the Immigration and Nationality Act to make specific determinations regarding an individual’s U.S. citizenship status upon birth. The act specifies that only those children born to a lawful permanent resident, U.S. national or citizen, or to any alien actively serving within the U.S. Armed Forces may be granted citizenship.
